Information and Instructions for Wall Art

Our stickers are printed on self-adhesive, peel and stick vinyl and are repositionable. They won’t hurt the surface of most walls. They adhere to almost any smooth surface such as metal, wood, glass, cardboard, paper, plastic etc. Although the stickers are recommended for smooth, clean, dry surfaces, they can be applied to textured surfaces with varying degrees of success. We recommend using a couple of small pins at the top of a large growth chart if you are applying it to a wall with any sort of texture.

Allow freshly painted walls to cure for 1 to 2 weeks.

Clean walls thoroughly where the stickers will be applied with a dry towel or cloth to remove any dust.

Unroll the growth chart onto the floor, table or bed. Make sure the growth chart has a chance to get acclimated to room temperature for a few hours before application. The vinyl can expand or contract during shipping and can cause them not to stick properly.

Here are some Helpful Tips

• Tape the stickers (with backing) to the wall to get an idea of were to place them before you remove the backing.

• When peeling the sticker away from the backing, PEEL SLOWLY from the largest part of the sticker first, being careful to peel "evenly" so the sticker does not get a kink in it or stick to itself. Stickers may stretch or tear if you try to remove the backing too quickly.

• If there are air bubbles, take a pin and poke a hole through the bubble and press.

• Small stickers can simply be pressed to the wall, rubbing your hand from the top of the sticker to the bottom. If you change your mind , slowly and evenly peel the sticker from the wall and reposition.

• When moving or repositioning stickers, always make sure to keep the tacky side clean and free from dirt and dust which would hinder it’s sticking ability. Save the backing material in the mailing tube so that when you want to move or remove the sticker from the wall, you will have a clean surface to put it on for storage or to protect it in a move.

Application Instructions

You may find that you need an extra pair of hands when putting up a large growth chart.

Lay sticker face down and pull the liner off the sticker part way, about 8 inches. Fold the liner back on itself so the exposed back of the sticker can be applied to the wall. Position the top part of the sticker to the wall and press slightly just enough to stick the top part to the wall. While still holding the other part of the sticker, check to see if it’s straight and in position. (this is where its nice to have some one to help). Be careful not to bend or kink the sticker. Do not allow the adhesive on the back of the sticker to contact any other area on the back of the sticker! With the sticker in position, SLOWLY pull the backing off the sticker and push the sticker on the wall as you pull the backing. Rub your hand from the top of the sticker to the bottom, pressing with the palm of your hand hard enough so the sticker conforms to the wall. To finish, softly rub the entire sticker with a soft cloth, making sure to press with your finger tips to secure any loose edges. If there are air bubbles, take a pin and poke a hole through the bubble and press.

Please don't apply stickers within reach of a small child or near their bed or crib as they may be a choking hazard.
